Important information before you proceed
New regulations that came into effect on July 1, 2024.
If you wish to VACATE, please specify your reason:
- 1. The property is for DEMOLITION
- 2. The property is for RENOVATION
- 3. The property is for OWN OCCUPANCY
- 4. The property is for SALE; sale date must be provided
- 5. Tenant or allowed person to access the property, resulting in serious damage to the property.
- 6. Tenant or allowed person to access the property, that cause a serious risk to the life, health and safety of the owner, LL's agent, neighbors.
- 7. Tenant or allowed person threatened the owner, LL's agents or contractors.
- 8. Tenant has given 2 notices for breaching the tenancy agreement for the same reason.
- 9. Tenant used the property for an illegal purpose.
- 10. Tenant failed to pay the bond.
- 11. Tenant kept a pet without consent.
- 12. One of the conditions of the residential lease agreement was that the tenant may only live there if he/she is the landlord, meet a charity's eligibility requirements, being a student of an educational institution or an employee of the landlord, however, these conditions are no longer met.
This is a strict compliance requirement for lease renewal due to legislation. The lease cannot be terminated by the owner for a reason not listed in the above notice. It is also required to give the tenant a 60-day notice of termination, instead of only 28 days.
